Summer (June – August): Red Rock Canyon State Park is one of California’s desert parks, so it’s probably no surprise that it can get hot here. ![]() So if you go camping in Red Rock Canyon, be sure to check my packing list below to be prepared! Nighttime may still bring a chill, with lows between 50° – 61° overnight. The sun will likely be shining and the days are getting longer. Spring (March – May): Expect highs between 68° – 83° during the daytime. The Red Rock Canyon State Park weather can vary throughout the year.
